京都出張のついでに蹴上インクラインによってみました。蹴上インクラインは、南禅寺の手前にある感じで、昔からインクラインと呼ばれていたのが、全長582Mの世界最長の傾斜鉄道跡で、高低差が３６メートルの琵琶湖からの船の利用のために施設された鉄道の跡地とのことです。明治からの運航の跡地なので、いろんな風貌をしてきて撮影してる人々がいました。とても良い雰囲気でした。
I visited the Keage Incline during my business trip to Kyoto. The Keage Incline is located in front of Nanzenji Temple. It was called the Incline from the old days, and it is the site of the world's longest incline railroad with a total length of 582M, which is the longest incline railroad in the world, with a height difference of 36 meters, and was established for the use of boats from Lake Biwa. Since it is the site of operation since the Meiji era, people were coming in various styles and taking pictures. It was a very nice atmosphere.
